Safety and security are important in the
lives of people with memory loss. Heritage House of Sebeka ensures
that these needs are met. All doors are equipped with alarms
to protect residents who are at risk of wandering. The building
features an internal sprinkler system in case of fire. The safety
and security is of utmost importance here at Heritage House.
Visitation Encouraged
Families are always welcome to visit and
take loved ones on outings and share in activities. Visits by
children are welcomed and encouraged. Family members are considered
a vital part of the caregiving team at Heritage House. They provide
information about their loved one's daily routine. This information
assists the staff to involve the resident in family activities
each day.
