Employment Positions Available

Position: Home Health Aide 
Status:  Part Time / PM and NOC
Description of Position: Responsibilities include assisting the licensed nurse in the delivery of resident care.  Duties include direct care to residents:  bathing, meal preparation, basic housekeeping, medication administration, recreational activities, and providing support to our residents.
Requirements:  Must have a desire to work with seniors.  Must be compassionate, patient, reliable, self-motivated and have good communication skills.
Experience:  Experience preferred but not necessary.  Paid training and orientation.

Position:  Licensed Practical Nurse
Status: Part Time / PM
Description of Position:  The LPN performs responsibilities exercising initiative, and fulfilling nursing duties and tasks within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, gerontological nursing, state and federal regulations.  As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will observe, gather information, communicate, and propose interventions to the RN.  The LPN records data about resident conditions in a monitoring, systematic approach to the care of residents and their families.  The LPN services as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide an environment that enables each resident to reach their highest attainable state of well-being.  The LPN is also a universal team worker monitoring or performing tasks and duties of the Home Health Aides.
Requirements:  Current LPN licensure in the state of MN.  Must have a desire to work with seniors.  Must be compassionate, patient, reliable, self-motivated and have good communication skills.  Ability to communicate well with residents and families explaining medical needs/changes related to resident's care as well as advocate for the proper services to be provided.  Must be able to relate professionally with the residents, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members.  Practices positive communication with the residents professional Health Care Team.
Experience:  Experience working in long-term care favored but not required.  Paid training and orientation.
