Minnesota Heritage House History

Since its beginning, Minnesota Heritage House has focused on creating a warm and comfortable setting for our residents -- making them feel right at home.  By creating this feeling for the resident, we believe we're also taking much stress from family members who care for their loved ones.

Opening in January, 1999, Heritage House of Blackduck was the first of our communities.  Located in a small and friendly town in northern Minnesota, Heritage House of Blackduck offers a safe and secure environment for its residents.  From the comfortable living area indoors to the deck overlooking the beautiful yard, the residents maintain an independent lifestyle with help when they need it.

Heritage House of Sebeka was the next home that opened in February, 2001.  Located in a small town in central Minnesota, Heritage House of Sebeka is a beautiful living experience for the elderly and persons with memory loss.  Here, our residents are provided with home-like living and are encouraged to participate in life's daily routines to the best of their abilities.  Come and see what small town caring is all about.

In July, 2002, Heritage House of Pequot Lakes became our third community.  Located just south of Pequot Lakes, this community is comfortable home living in a quiet serine north woods setting.  Not too far from shopping areas, restaurants and the beautiful lakes in Northern Minnesota, this community is specifically designed to meet the special needs of those who are in need of services to maintain their independence.

Our fourth community is Heritage House of Kimball which opened in December, 2003.  Located in a quiet residential area with strong community involvement, Heritage House of Kimball provides warm and comfortable surroundings to make the residents feel right at home.  Social interaction and involvement in life's daily routines are encouraged. With help from the staff, residents take part in personal grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks.

If you have any questions about our communities we would like to hear from you.
