Our Mission

Heritage House of Blackduck believes that healthcare is a basic human right. We believe that individuals must be allowed to participate in planning for their healthcare and other basic needs and can remain in the home environment with assisted living services as long as they are able. Services must be available, coordinated, and provided in a comprehensive way, combined with other human services when appropriate. Our primary focus is on meeting the needs of elders while honoring their dignity and well being through holistic, compassionate, individualized care.

Safety & Care

Safety and security are important in the lives of people with memory loss. Heritage House of Blackduck ensures that these needs are met. All doors are equipped with alarms to protect residents who are at risk of wandering. The safety and security is of utmost importance here at Heritage House.

Cost of Care

Cost of care is based on an individual's care needs as determined after an individual assessment. Payment options include private pay, elderly waiver and alternative care and are contracted between Heritage House of Blackduck and Social Services. These various options will be discussed in detail on admission.

Resident & Family Involvement

Our facility encourages resident involvement in all aspects of daily living. With our staff providing guidance, residents take part in personal grooming, meal preparation and household tasks. Recreational activities adapted for persons with short attention spans are offered each day.
